Bridlington Golf Club - Bridlington


Bridlington Golf Club is sited on the A165 South of the town and has magnificent views of the bay. It is an easy walking, 6638 yard course, with some of the finest greens in the area. The presentation of the course is excellent. With thousands of trees screening the fairways, six water features and many well-positioned bunkers, it offers a challenge to the discerning golfer. The clubhouse was recently refurbished and offers the opportunity to relax after the game with all modern comforts. Enjoy a drink at the bar and sample excellent food while being looked after by our friendly staff.


Scarborough Fair Collection


The Scarborough Fair Collection hosts a magnificent working collection of Vintage Cars, Steam Engines, Vintage Fairground Rides and Mechanical Organs topped off with a 'Mighty' Wurlitzer Organ in our spacious ballroom. Set in the scenic grounds of the Flower of May Holiday Park on the coast road between Scarborough and Filey.


Aldborough Roman Site


This was the principal town of the Brigantes, whose earlier tribal stronghold can be seen at Stanwick. The remains include parts of the Roman defences and two spectacular mosaic pavements. The on-site museum displays local Roman finds.


Scarborough Castle


With its stunning location and panoramic views over the dramatic Yorkshire coastline, the castle will be the pinnacle of your visit to Scarborough. Come and see objects from its 3,000 years of history, play on the grassy headland, and take tea in the Master Gunner's house.


North Bay Railway


We are one of the most historic seaside miniature railway in the United Kingdom, offering a wide range of attractions including the Glass House Café, Sky Trail, Boating Lake and Historic Water Chute. Now celebrating our 84th year, we have been operating trains since 1931, taking passengers for around ¾ mile from Peasholm Park to Scalby Mills stations, offering beautiful views of Scarborough’s North Bay.


Stephen Joseph Theatre


The Stephen Joseph Theatre is a cultural icon of the Yorkshire region, providing accessible, high quality theatre for audiences worldwide since 1955. The SJT is known for its world premieres of almost all of Alan Ayckbourn’s 75+ plays and its commitment to new writing. It is home to excellent drama, music, films and comedy, as well as the musical adaptations of Artistic Director Chris Monks. The SJT has toured plays to more than 45 national and international venues, and in summer 2014 the company will tour to New York, marking its fifth visit.


Flamborough Head Golf Club - Bridlington


With extensive views over the course and the sea beyond there is no more pleasant place to mull over your round than the comfortable surroundings of the lounge bar, watching your fellow golfers and the passing boats and ships going about their business. The friendly and efficient staff are on hand to help you quench your thirst with a selection of draught and bottled ales, wines and soft drinks from the well stocked bar. Visitors are welcome at most times, with the exceptions being Sunday mornings (Club competitions) and Wednesday mornings (Ladies Day).

North Cliff Golf Club - Scarborough


North Cliff Golf Club is situated 2 miles north of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, on the coastal road to Whitby. Although mainly a parkland course, it does have a cliff top start and finish. Stunning views of both the North Bay and Castle make this James Braid designed course both a delight and a challenge to play at any time of the year. At 6425 yards with a SSS 71 North Cliff is testing for the low handicap player, yet is enjoyable for the mid to high handicap golfer. The club has a resident professional with a well-stocked shop and full catering and bar facilities to make your day complete.


Peasholm Park


Peasholm Park has a tranquil lake and in the summer months people can hire boats of all sorts to enjoy the water at close quarters. Boats include traditional rowing boats and canoes but pedaloes with dragon heads are available too and these prove to be very popular with summer visitors and locals alike. If you don't fancy pedaling then go for a sail in the Swan launch where you can relax on the water and let someone else steer the boat. There is a bandstand in the middle of the lake and music concerts which are free of charge can often be heard during the summer season.

General Policy

Access:This three-storey house is about 100 years old, so the stairs make it unsuitable for people with limited mobility. There are no lifts or elevators to the upper floors. There is one step at the entrance, up to the front door. No lavatory facilities are available on the ground floor.

Payment:We accept most major debit and credit cards, cash or cheque. Cheques must be received at least six weeks prior to the arrival date. We take a deposit on booking, equivalent to the 25% of the total cost of the holiday.

Cancellation Policy:By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and you agree to our terms and conditions. Should your travel arrangements change you should inform us as soon as practicable to allow us to re-allocate the room(s). If the booking is cancelled more than 6 weeks before the expected arrival date, your deposit will be refunded in full. Non-availability of Accommodation:We would only cancel your stay if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would, however, attempt to find you alternative accommodation;if we were unable to find suitable accommodation our liability would not extend beyond this point. Damages and Breakages:Please take care when staying with us. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. We ask is that you do report any incidents when they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may charge you for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. Liability:We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment. Animals:Well-behaved pets are welcome in this house. Booking in and out:Check in is from 1500 (3pm) until 1900 (7pm). Booking out is by 10am. Parking:On-street is available outside the house, and we will give you a free parking permit for the duration of your stay.
